I will explain a rapid painting, and a layered painting with texture. The final two weeks will be looking at examples of how artists approach this medium and you will work on one or two paintings depending on your time and process.

You will need cold wax, a selection of oil paint, squeegees or credit card or a selection of shapers plus brushes and palette paper or freezer paper.

For surfaces it is your choice but possible choices would be paper made for oil, heavy watercolour paper that you have gessoed, wood panels that you have prepared with gel and gesso.

You need to be able to climb 2 flights of stairs to the third floor of my studio.
